FOXHALL OASIS
Drawing inspiration from our client’s home country of Portugal, we transformed this Palisades townhome from old to old-world. By taking the house down to the studs, we were able to integrate architectural details that maximized storage and added craftsmanship and sophistication. Built-ins and hidden closet doors were strategically placed to optimize storage without interfering with the home’s heritage aesthetic. Plaster walls and soft curves provide an earthy canvas for hardware, lighting, and finishes to shine. Floating marble shelves combined with upper and lower cabinetry in the kitchen fuse function with visual interest, and mixed metal finishes throughout the kitchen and bathrooms look well-curated while bringing a nice tension to the space.
