how we do things

Around here, good design is about more than having pitch-perfect taste and understanding how to make a room work. Humanity, soul, and a solid sense of humor are what make our spaces feel intimate and inviting. We temper the insanely sophisticated with playful moments of daring. But above all, our designs support how clients actually live when no one is watching—ample storage and a conveniently close bar are favorites.

In our creative playground, art, fashion, film, and architecture all play a part. As influences in our projects, they add interest, spark curiosity, and become outlets of confident self-expression for clients. We favor the timeless, go vintage whenever possible, and stand by the benefits of reimagining, repurposing, and reupholstering, practices that are better for us and the planet. Our approach may be deeply rooted in classical design principles, but we never, ever take ourselves too seriously.

how we stay green

We consider the environment a stakeholder in pretty much everything we do. As individuals and small businesses, it's easy to feel powerless to make a real difference. But we’re firm believers in the power of small, mindful, environmentally rational choices when it comes to the decisions we can control. This means adopting greener practices in our projects, greening up our office, and supporting organizations working to restore and protect the planet. As a studio, Zoe Feldman is proud to have made the following commitments:

  • Donate 100% of the client’s initial site visit fee to one of five charities, and match that donation upon the signing of a contract.

  • Plant 1,000 trees at the conclusion of every project through Eden Reforestation Projects.

  • Donate a portion of our quarterly sales to reforestation efforts.

Organizations we Support

A local non-profit dedicated to ending poverty through workforce development, on-the-ground services, and neighborhood revitalization.

Based in the Netherlands, this non-governmental environmental engineering organization develops technology to extract plastic pollution from the oceans.

The mission of this international non-governmental organization is to “conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on earth.”

An organization that collaborates with school communities to elevate school food quality and develop and engage students, parents, and schools in building a culture of health.
