Historic capitol hill house

Good design requires tension. This project was a gut renovation that brought a historic townhouse down to the studs. We rebuilt it with reclaimed wood and graphic tiles, then layered in antique Oushak rugs and contemporary art, creating a curated and collected feel. Modern finishes are layered atop the home’s classic bones, making the space relevant yet timeless.
