Client: 16th Street Condo

Downtown utilitarian meets agrarian chic in this loft we took on for a client who wanted to bring a bit of his Montana upbringing to his city-centric lifestyle. The space is grounded in red-blooded hues—like stately shades of blue, blacks, full-bodied browns—and complemented by textures that elicit feelings of the great outdoors—think rough-hewn wood and leather, time-worn brick and metals. The project’s showstopper is a custom-built wine cabinet, washed in a moody shade that adds depth and personality to an otherwise underutilized corner. Bold artwork and touches of cowboy whimsy further demonstrates the client’s wish for a nature-inspired home that employs organic elements throughout.
